AdDU Grade 6 pupil starred in an Indie Film

Ateneo de Davao University is proud of Jandi Dominic A. Navales for his lead role in "Diyandi". His mother, Mrs. Rose Navales, an AdDU Preschool teacher, also appeared in this film. Diyandi is an inspiring film about a young boy, Diyandi, who has been his mother ‘s valuable aid in running  and keeping  their family intact after losing his father. In his tender age, he has learned to embrace the duty of being the eldest in the family—willing to take whatever his mother asks him to do just so the family may survive. But, there is one thing that he is unwilling to give up -- hope for a better future.
